Gallery of work

I use a range of different media and love trying out new ideas. Composition is key - I seek to produce a balance of shapes and colours that satisfies, with a flow of movement that leads through the image.
Much of my work is available as square format greeting cards (145x145mm supplied with envelope).

All sorts of things can be combined to form a final image.
I make collages/assemblages using a range of techniques, combining drawing, painting and craft printing, often with purpose-designed lettering hand cut from paper to suit each individual work.
Also included are a variety of found objects, pebbles and Thames Valley flints.

Current projects include:
- a series of collages inspired by shapes seen in
cactus gardens; all sorts of different materials
are used to introduce depth and texture;
- paintings based on the idea of horizons, depth
and distance.
